I've previously bought a polo style cotton shirt from Wordans, size L which fits fine, not tight or form fitting. When I ordered several of these shirts I ordered XL so it would be loose fitting. However these are quite tight, even with the larger size, and the sleeves are very long, down to my fingers. To see if I could fix the problem, I have tried stretching the garment sideways while wet but this doesn't seem to work. I am assuming the "ring spun" process is what produces this effect. They are nice shirts but if you want it loose go at least 2 or 3 sizes up.
